This is the second part of our ongoing series about simple recipes that are fit for an immature kitchen of a hungry and tired bachelor.
Today we have Dosas on our plate. Yeah, yeah! Keep the sarcasm aside.
There are several stores and brands that offer ready-to-cook idli and Dosa batters. This batter helps you win the battle with the hunger.
Here’s the recipe.
Step One: Get the batter (Keep the “Obvio” in your pocket.) If you already have it in your fridge, let it get to the room temperature.
Step Two: Adjust the consistency slightly runnier that the usual consistency of Fevicol. (I know the comparison is absurd but it will give you the perfect idea.)
Step Three: Heat a pan with a few drops of oil (You will need around a teaspoon of oil if the pan you are using is non non-stick.)
Step Four: Take a ladle full of batter, drop it on the hot pan and spread it out in a circular motion rapidly using the same ladle.
Step five: As the dosa starts getting cooked it will start popping op from the pan and you will know when it’s done.
If you wish you can add salt and red chilli powder to improve the taste.
Try it out and let us know if it helped.
