It has been seven whole years since the launch of Playstation 4 in 2013 and the brand new Playstation 5 has been unveiled. Black core with, white shield and a soothing blue glow to it, looks amazing and trumps the all-black matte and glossy slashed look of the PS4.
- PS5 Specifications / Configuration
The console is capable of supporting 4K visuals at 120Hz refresh rate and will have a 825 GB custom SSD for higher response speeds.
Two versions of the PS5 were launched during the online only unveil event;
- Playstation 5: Regular with a 4K Blu-Ray drive (These disks will have the capacity to save 100 GB of data)
- Playstation 5: Digital edition without the disk drive, making it a more greener version of the same. The console will support external non Sony proprietary NVMe SSDs too
The PS5 controller takes gaming immersion to the next level with Haptic Feedback; now hitting a wall during a race, going off road and a bomb explosion all will have different feedbacks during the gameplay.
