Yes you heard it right, we use Skype, Microsoft's tool within Office 365 for sharing screens and Desktop, Instant messaging, etc. would be coming to an end shortly. Skype is a widely used application to communicate for official / personal use. But, great things come to an end at some point. Microsoft announced that it would discontinue the service of Skype replacing it with Microsoft Teams.

There might be a challenge for replacing Skype with Teams
The Learning Curve:
It's obviously a major change from replacing Skype with Teams, which would require a learning curve for your employees to make sure everybody is up to date and knows how to use it, moreover special training sessions / additional time would be required to make your team fully functional with Teams.
Teams is a complex product, however Microsoft is planning to replace it by doing changes to the Office 365 implementation / modifications. This is just single update, who knows what more is Microsoft is planning to do?
