- It is carried out to stop or slow down the rate and the extent of transmission of the disease
Here are a few simple tips to execute social distancing properly
- Stay at home and work from home, if it is possible for your profession. For instances where you cannot work from home, here’s what you should do
- Increase the distance between your co-workers
- Stagger working schedules to reduce the level of contact
- Limit in-person meets, lunch meetings etc
- Avoid all public gatherings for all purposes
- If you HAVE to eat out, pick up take-away and move to your house annd, in cases where you have to order food, make sure to reduce contact between the delivery person and you. Also, hats off to all the delivery persons out there
- When you decide to go out for grocery shopping, make sure you choose off peak hours to minimize contact. also, do not hoard essentials
